The waning days of genius

My son Colin put me onto this interview with Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan on the Henry Rollins show. MacGowan, who has modeled his career on his idol Brendan Behan, still shows a glimmer of the rare intelligence, and creative genius that once shown brightly through the haze of alcohol. There's also a performance of The Irish Rover at the Henry Rollins site, here. Reviled MacGowan handler, Joey Cashman, on pennywhistle.
