The eloquence of Bruce Springsteen

H/T to Myleftnutmeg.

On the opposite end of the spectrum from Sarah Palin's embrace of low expectations, intellectual curiousity, and jingoism is Bruce Springsteen, a rock star with middle class roots, and a real feel for the possibilities of America. His speech is as moving and real (he coins the word "termperateness" as a replacement for "temperance" proving that he was the author, and not some campaign hack) as his performance in a campaign appearance in Philly yesterday.
