The string band movement has a lot of strength amongst the young and enthusiastic. The Powderkegs, from NY state are up and comers with a lot of energy, and a ton of non-stringband influences. In addition, The Wellbeings, some of whom live right around the corner from me, will be opening. Call ahead to be sure non-Wes listeners are welcome.
