Most of the criticism of Al Gore's Nobel Peace Prize
comes from the right, but there's an argument on the left too.
Alexander Cockburn disputes the prize itself, and this year's recipient.
Note: I've been warned by a few correspondents to take Cockburn's analysis with a grain of salt. He's made some outrageous claims in the past. However, I do think former awardees cast the Nobel in a dubious light, and Gore's own history makes him suspect. While others blame Ralph Nader for the Bush presidency, I put the blame squarely in Gore's lap.
