Barack Obama's explanation of his change of mind on the FISA bill is about as satisfying as warm beer. Not only is it disingenuous, but it's misleading. The court oversight Obama talks about is actually thwarted by executive branch power.
The New York Times takes notice this morning.
And the shifts are becoming fodder for his opponent, whom, we can only assume, thinks he can keep a disaffected left wing from the polls.
C'mon, Barack, give us just one victory.
