I phone, you phone, we all want iPhone

I've stood in line for concert and theater tickets. I've stood in line for movies, and to get into restaaurants. I've stood in line at airports. But I've never stood in line for a product.

It tells you something about our technology-addicted, consumer culture, and about the powerful cult of Apple, when people line up before dawn to be the first to buy the upgraded iPhone.

On sale today, the iPhone offers improvements over the debut model, including high-speed connectivity.

This was the line at the phone store at 6:30 a.m. in Middletown, CT.
