Portfolio is reporting that Senator Chris Dodd, chairman of the Senate banking committee received a "V.I.P." loan from troubled mortgage lender Countrywide Financial.
We can only hope that Dodd makes a swift, honest and clear statement about the mortgage, and the influence if may have had on decisions he made.
