The latest brilliant strategy from the Pentagon and the Bush administration is to arm Sunni groups in Iraq who have formerly been hostile to the US, and allied with al-Qaida. Makes sense. Our model of free enterprise was built on the myth of the Wild West. Why not give this new democracy the opportunity to create the Wild Middle East (as if it's not already).
