Keep it secret, and if we can't keep it secret, destroy it, and if someone finds out we destroyed it, lie about it


One doesn't need to be entirely clever to discern a pattern in the Bush administration's handling of it trampling the law.

It appears that yet another General has lied about interrogation tapes that were destroyed by the CIA, making it ever more obvious that the Bush administration doesn't want any evidence lying around that may haunt them later.

My respect for the military's (and the CIA's) ability to lie is unwavering.
