How do we sleep while our bags are burning?

Now if only we could have an environmental minister who would tackle huge problems with simple, practical, efficient solutions. And if only we had more rock and rollers who took their message more seriously.

Peter Garrett, former lead singer for Midnight Oil, and now Environmental Minister in Australia, is aiming to rid that continent of plastic bags.

It is an island not a continent.
And since he is not offering an alternative to the platic bags, it's just another politician being annoying.

Gee, I think you're wrong on the continent vs. island thing. I checked several sources which identified Australia as a continent. As for the banning of plastic bags, it turns out China is actually first. I guess other politicians just being annoying.

What's most annoying is people who make anonymous posts.
