Looking forward to hearing what's on your mind

Here's one California Democratic representative Jane Harman, and the house snuck by when the press was focusing on Britney.

Hardly seems possible that it passed, and with such a majority, and now, with help of Creepy Joe Lieberman, we're about to live in a land where someone can tell you what to think or not to think.

From the linked article: Examples of the resulting crackdowns on such protests include the conviction and execution of anarchists tied to Chicago's 1886 Haymarket Riot. Hearings conducted by the House Un-American Activities Committee for several decades during the Cold War and the solo hearings by a member of that committee's Senate counterpart, Joseph McCarthy, demonstrate the dangers inherent in Ms. Harman's legislation.

However, if Naomi Wolf is correct, there is a whole lot more at stake. Here is an interview with the author of the book, The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot: http://www.alternet.org/story/68399/
(Too bad you don't seem to be allowing links anymore.)

I recognize Wolf's 10-step pattern that, as she found in her research, dictatorships invariably follow in their creation. Do you think her comparisons are valid?
